Manchester Combined XI

Ahead of the Manchester derby we decided to do our Manchester combined XI.

The only rule is players that have been confirmed injured or who were said to be very doubtful have been excluded from selection.

David De Gea

Who would you rather have in goal. Claudio Bravo? Willy Caballero?  or David De Gea?

Easy.

Antonio Valencia

One of the best right backs this season, with some arguing that he should have been in the Team of the Year.

Eric Bailly

Has had a brilliant first season in English football. A great defender and he did well against Chelsea last weekend and thus he has shown he can deal with top attacking players.

Vincent Kompany

He is the leader on the pitch. Him and Bailly as a centre back pairing would be phenomenal.

Luke Shaw

He might not have played much this season, but he is probably the best natural left back that either club has.

Ander Herrera

Toss up between Fernandinho and Herrera but Herrera probably in better form right now.

Yaya Toure

Toure is capable of changing a game at any moment in my opinion. He forced a great save from Cech in the FA Cup semi final last weekend, but you need players like that. Plus he can bully players with his strength.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

A great player, he took a while to get going, but since then he has been great.

Kevin De Bruyne

He has the most assists in the Premier League this season. He creates goals and that is what you want and need in your team.

Leroy Sane

A great first season in English football. He is frightening out wide, he is quick and he can go past players, him De Bruyne and Mkhitaryan as a three behind a striker would be frightening.

Sergio Aguero

His Premier League scoring record speaks for itself.

So here is how our team looks.
